These terms apply to GIFGenerator.io, an independent digital service operated by 陈立, an individual developer in Wuhan, Hubei, China.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
AI accounts and paid services are for adults aged 18 or older. By creating an account or purchasing a pack, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. You must be authorized to act for any organization you represent.
2. What the service provides
Image-to-GIF and short video conversion operate in your browser without a login, charge or watermark. Text to GIF uses MiniMax H3 Max Turbo or MiniMax H3 Max through fal.ai. The model creates a short video that is then converted to GIF. Availability, detail and processing time vary; seamless loops and a particular creative result are not guaranteed. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI, MiniMax, Google, Microsoft or fal.ai.
3. Accounts and welcome credits
Google sign-in creates a member profile. Keep your Google account secure and your contact details current. Eligible first-time identities receive 100 promotional credits once, enough for one Turbo generation. Promotional credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded, sold or transferred. Repeated login does not grant more credits; recreating an account does not reset eligibility.
4. Credit billing and purchase authorization
Credit packs are one-time USD purchases: $9.90 for 500 credits, $19.99 for 1,400 credits, and $29.99 for 2,400 credits. A 3-second Turbo request reserves 100 credits, Turbo HD 200, and H3 Max Studio 800. A pack can be mixed across models while credits remain. Paid packs unlock HD and Studio models. Prices, model cost and included counts are shown before checkout. Purchasing authorizes only the checkout amount shown; applicable taxes are displayed before payment. Waffo Pancake processes hosted checkout as Merchant of Record. We do not store full payment-card details. Purchases remain unavailable until the store and checkout are enabled.
5. Credit delivery, validity and failed generations
Purchased credits are added only after a verified payment notification, not merely a successful return URL. Credits do not expire and do not renew automatically. There is no subscription or automatic top-up. Credits are reserved when a generation starts and returned when a confirmed generation failure or rejected output prevents delivery. A network timeout can leave the provider outcome uncertain; those credits remain reserved until reconciliation to avoid duplicate paid requests. A result remains available through the account history while retained. Browser conversion failures do not automatically mean the model generation failed.
6. Refund and cancellation policy
As with the reference service, credit purchases are generally non-refundable, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise or a review confirms duplicate or incorrect billing, an unauthorized transaction or an inability to provide the purchased service. This does not waive any non-excludable withdrawal, cancellation or refund rights. Submit a refund request with your account email, order reference, purchase date and reason through the contact form or support email. Do not send card numbers or passwords. We review requests rather than promising an automatic refund. A confirmed cash refund revokes the corresponding credits; a spent refunded balance may become negative and block further generation until resolved. One-time packs need no subscription cancellation. Closing an account does not automatically refund purchases; resolve outstanding billing requests first.
7. Input authorization and intellectual property
Use only material you own or are allowed to use. Upload a real person’s photo or voice only when it is your own or you have that person’s explicit permission. Permission does not authorize deepfakes or other prohibited content. You grant only the processing permission needed to perform your requested service. We do not claim ownership of your original inputs. Rights in AI output remain subject to applicable law, model terms and third-party rights; no uniqueness or non-infringement guarantee is given.
8. Acceptable use and safety
The six prohibited categories and reporting/enforcement rules are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. AI prompts pass Waffo Prompt Sift, and output passes a separate safety review before delivery. Uncertain or flagged output may require human review. We may restrict requests, suspend accounts, disable generated-result delivery or take other proportionate action for verified abuse. Local conversion does not upload source files for server-side review and does not excuse prohibited use.
9. Service availability and limitations
The service is provided as available. AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable, and GIF palettes or browser decoding may reduce quality. Do not rely on creative outputs for professional legal, medical or financial advice. Provider outages, queues and moderation can delay delivery. Stop waiting does not guarantee provider cancellation; check account history before starting another job. Save local files before leaving the editor.
10. Liability, termination and disputes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service and are not responsible for indirect losses caused by misuse or third-party services. Nothing excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may close your account through account settings; we may restrict service for material breach, fraud or legal requirements. Contact support first about a dispute without giving up your rights to use a provider, bank or competent authority’s dispute process.
11. Updates and contact
Material policy changes will be posted on the site and reflected in the updated date; where required we will provide additional notice or obtain consent. These terms concern the service operated from China and do not override mandatory consumer law applicable to you.
